The technical director said 36 Nigerian athletes are already on the road to the Olympics.
The minister said the incident saddened him and is exploring ways to always ensure Nigerian athletes are treated with dignity.
Some of the games the athletes will participate in are amputee football, para-athletics, para-badminton, and deaf sports.
The Nigerian leader also commended the Chinese government for organising the global event.
Chukwuebuka Enekwechi said he only has one jersey and has to wash it at night in preparation for the next day’s games.
