The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has warned of cloudiness and thunderstorms from Tuesday to Thursday.

Recently, over 1,500 houses were affected and two lives lost to flood in some parts of the state.
The agency forecasts that the wet atmosphere will persist around the country over the weekend.
This warning was contained in NiMet’s weather outlook released on Saturday in Abuja.
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency therefore advised the public to exercise restraint and wait till after the rains to commute.
“Thunderstorms could flood runways and disrupt landing and take-off.”
The agency envisaged partly cloudy to cloudy skies over the Northern region during the morning hours on Monday.
The meteorological agency predicted strong chances of normal to above normal rainfall in Nigeria during the July-August-September (JAS) season.
NiMet forecasts cloudy skies with intervals of sunshine to prevail over the North central region with prospects of isolated thunderstorms over Niger, Plateau and Kwara states.
