With the approval and level of preparedness, the port is set for berthing commercial vessels before year-end.
Another seven ships containing general cargo, bulk wheat, bulk gypsum, container and petrol are waiting to berth.
Another 27 ships are expected to arrive at the port between July 8 and July 28.
18 ships are already discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, petrol, frozen fish, bulk fertiliser, ethanol, soya bean, bulk gypsum and automobile gasoline.
The president recalled that his approval of four new seaports in the country, including the Lekki Deep Sea port, hinged on growing the economy.
The command said it recorded a boom in the exportation of non-oil commodities with about 2.5 million metric tonnes, above the 540 metric tonnes in the year 2021.
The authority also said seven other ships had arrived at the ports waiting to berth with bulk wheat, frozen fish and petrol.
16 other ships are loaded with sugar, wheat, salt, general cargo, truck, container, butane gas, gypsum and petrol.
25 ships at the ports are discharging fuel, bulk wheat, general cargo, container, bulk salt, bulk sugar and frozen fishes.
The authority said that 15 other ships were expected to arrive at the port between May 19 and May 28.
