Mr Biu commended President Bola Tinubu for his continuous support to issues of safety on the roads.
He added that the initiative would equally enhance affordability and efficiency in transportation services.
The DMO said the sovereign Sukuk closed on a high note with 165 per cent oversubscription, totalling N130 billion.
He stressed that drivers must ensure that their vehicles are in good condition and drive with utmost care to avoid road traffic crashes.
The senators said the rise in airfare has pegged the minimum one-way Economy Class ticket at around N80,000.
The aim is to ensure that Nigerian roads are rid of abandoned and faulty vehicles, the road safety official said.
