The command’s spokesperson, CSC Efosa Ogbebor, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday in Benin City.
Mr Musa said that the deployment was a step forward in beefing up security before, during, and after the Sallah period in the state.
He also urged them to sensitise youths on the need to join security agencies.
The police spokesperson said that 10 people were earlier arrested in connection with the incident.
Ms Ekundayo warned miscreants, allegedly planning to disrupt the peaceful conduct of elections or hijack ballot boxes, to have a rethink.
He noted that the illegal miners have also been handed over to the NSCDC in the state command for further investigation and prosecution.
He noted that citizens have the right to protest as enshrined in the constitution.
The NSCDC image maker disclosed that the command had deployed 2100 personnel to ensure the protest was peaceful and orderly in the state.
They were arraigned on two-count charge bordering on conspiracy and alleged vandalism.
Mr Lawal-Falala disclosed that the victims were rescued on May 20 at Dan Tsinke Quarters in Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano.
