On Tuesday, IFAD-VCDP launched a school vegetable gardening initiative across 10 secondary schools in Enugu to improve students’ nutrition.
The zone also donated N300 million to support Mr Mbah’s reelection.
The facility was built under a special “Quick Impact Project” of the chief of the naval staff, Idi Abbas, in honour of Patrick Nwatu (Rtd).
The speaker read out the resignation letters of the Enugu Federal lawmakers during plenary on Thursday, with Governor Peter Mbah present.
He also commended the governor for flagging off the construction of roads that would open up access to farms across the state.
The items include 500 bags of fertilisers, 10 tricycles, 55 water pumps, 115 knapsack sprayers, five fufu pounders, 50 seed planters and five rice milling machines.

“There will be transparency and accountability in the distribution,’’ he said.
