Mr Oborevwori made the appeal at the swearing-in of NYSC Batch A Stream 1 at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Issele-Uku.
Eight PCMs and their bus driver were abducted in August 2023 in Zamfara on their way from Uyo, Akwa Ibom, to Sokoto.
Mr Sani urged the corps members to dedicate themselves to the ideals of the scheme.
Mr Esin advised corps members to be security-conscious since they had become soft targets for criminals and enemies of the country.
The NYSC orientation resumed last week in Borno after 13 years of suspension due to insurgency.
Mr Ahmed noted that the state government’s support for the scheme showed an act of patriotism, integration and upholding of national unity.
The NYSC state coordinator, Onifade Olaoluwa, applauded the Kwara government for approving and commencing the perimeter fencing of the orientation camp.
The NYSC boss gave the advice at the swearing in of Batch “B” Stream 1 corps members on Monday.
