The election will hold across the 18 local government areas (LGAs) of the state.
“So, our resolve to participate is to reverse the uneventful and uninspiring narratives. It is to restore the lost glory of local government administration and its pride.
The governor said trials of cases of corruption should fall under the State, especially where such cases occurred.
Mr Odinakin explained that the preparation for the LG election was in line with “electoral act provisions” to avoid litigation, assuring that the exercise will be free and fair.
