Education stakeholders in Delta have commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing a university don, Segun Aina, as registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.
A polytechnic student has been chased to his death allegedly by police officers. Police commissioner Yemi Oyeniyi said the operatives involved in the chase had been identified.
He urged believers to demonstrate Christian virtues in their daily conduct.
Mr Oborevwori also upheld the earlier suspension of the institution’s registrar by the polytechnic’s governing council.
According to Mr Ugbo’s neighbour, the operation was carried out by heavily armed gunmen, who invaded his residence and took him away at gunpoint.

Over 28,000 persons applied for the job, out of which about 8,000 were shortlisted for interviews.
