“The government must adopt a political solution to this situation. I do not believe that the government has any serious advantage in keeping him any further,” Ohanaeze said.
“It lacks all the ethical considerations, objective metrics, and unbiased categories for national unity and social justice…,” said Ohanaeze.
Ohanaeze stated that it’s four years of Mr Kanu’s unlawful arrest and detention in Kenya, prior to his extradition to Nigeria.
Mr Ezechi noted that the council approved several committees to help the President-General, Senator Azuta Mbata, provide effective and result-oriented leadership for the organisation.

The retreat also harped on the capacity of Ndigbo for self-sufficiency in food production.
“It will enable us to build our own seaports, railways and other infrastructure to develop the zone,” said Ohanaeze.
The group noted that enlisting in the police was the pathway that could offer the possibility of becoming a senior police officer in the future.
Mr Nwabueze’s work as a legal scholar transcended the Nigerian shores for decades, receiving recognition from several Western institutions, including Stanford University.
