Mr Olaleye said that the new mapping application was designed to help accurately identify farm locations.
Mr Olaleye said that the training would be held simultaneously in two other zones, Oke-Ogun and Oyo-Ogbomoso.
He said the celebration is meant to position agriculture as a catalyst for lasting transformation in the state.
Mrs Sarumi said the prolonged wait for potential buyers frequently resulted in her tomatoes and pepper perishing.
Mr Olaleye said that the $170 million investment would also create jobs for many people.
Mr Olaleye said that many of the farmers have transitioned from manual to mechanical farming methods.
He called on all stakeholders to support the project, saying its success depends on the collaboration.
The commissioner said efforts of government to support the farmers were to reduce the cost of food in the state.
“It is an investment in the future of food security and nutrition in Nigeria.’’
The federal government on Friday gave palliatives to 80 cattle farmers affected by the 2022 flood disaster in Oyo State.
