LSMTL organised the forum in Lagos on Thursday in collaboration with the Association of Real Estate Developers of Nigeria.
She said that prioritising quality over cost in the construction industry would ensure the safety and durability of structures.
LSMTL has launched an online registration portal to streamline its material testing processes.
The Lagos State Materials Testing Laboratory Agency is seeking a review of the reporting methodology of testing building/ construction materials.
Ms Abdul said, “The agency’s responsibility is to guarantee that the materials used in construction projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.’’
Ms Abdul said the partnership was crucial to safeguard citizens in the state.
According to Mrs Abdul, the purpose is to protect public safety in buildings in Lagos state.
