In the same line, food inflation increased from 24.32 per cent in January to 24.35 percent in the reviewed month.

On Friday, the CBN directed the banks to resume over the counter collection of the earlier outlawed banknotes.
“All friendly governors must replicate Kaduna address immediately to assure the integrity of the SC and rule of law for the local & international community.”
The situation forced some commuters to trek long distances to their respective destinations, while those who could not simply returned home.
Mr Ibrahim appealed to the CBN management to hasten the process to ameliorate the suffering of the public in swapping of the currency.
