A boat carrying 43 passengers from Kwanta Wadata to Daudu capsized on Saturday, killing nine people.
Mr Onoja said the operations significantly degraded criminal capabilities.
Mr Zubairu stated that the victims were evacuated to the Primary Health Centre in Gbajimba for treatment.
