The returning officer said the suspension, which took effect immediately, will last until 5:00 p.m., when collation is expected to resume.
NCSSR decried that voters were induced with money ranging from N5,000 to N10,000 per voter and snacks during the election.

The exercise in Benin was characterised by complaints of slow process and unavailability of some voters’ cards.
It urged parents to keep their children and wards away from schools.
