The secretary of the party in the state, Robert Ngwu, stated this in Enugu on Thursday while briefing the press.
The APC chieftain said “the governors have no excuse for contributing to the material conditions which deepened poverty and insecurity in Nigeria.”
He said the PDP had finally convinced Nigerians that they were not prepared or interested in building a harmonious, united and progressive country.
Mr Okechukwu said Mr Abubakar was not a unifier as he claimed.
“But I know that in the fullness of time, contrary to the speculations of spin doctors, they would not vote for the former Vice President,” he said.
He commended the APC presidential flag bearer, Bola Tinubu’s visit to other aspirants, adding it was a way of uniting the party.
“As a patriot and stakeholder in the Nigerian project, I am worried by PDP’s induced dollar rain, which led to unprecedented depreciation of the naira,” the VON DG said.
