Two heavy-duty trailers collided on the Otedola Bridge, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, on Friday, leading to the death of one of the drivers.
Fourteen vehicles were burnt in the explosion.
It added, “Fire rescue teams are currently at the scene, working to extinguish the fire and mitigate the situation.”
The driver of a minibus has died after his vehicle collided with a truck in Lagos.
Mr Oke-Osanyintolu added that three other adult males sustained varying degrees of injury.
Mr Hundeyin said two of the suspects (names withheld) were apprehended on October 15 with human parts in a taxi during a routine stop-and-search.
He added that anyone caught defecating on the road median would be made to engage in community service.
“Effort is on for the recovery of the contents and the truck from the road,” it added.
Also on May 3, NDLEA operatives busted a mini factory where a suspect, Bakare Taofeek, was producing “skucchies’’ around Safari Onikolobo, Abeokuta.
He, however, noted that the ministry was working with the Lagos State government, all traffic management and security agencies to minimise the discomfort of motorists.
