The oyo assembly has hailed its speaker as an exemplary leader on its 39th birthday.
The lawmakers also emphasised the need for decisive measures to curb illegal revenue collection and end the harassment of commercial drivers.
The speaker stated, “There’s need for all members to uphold the highest standards of discipline, decorum, and accountability.”

Mr Adedoyin, the house leader, highlighted the alarming rise in fire disasters and the inadequacies of the state fire services’ response system.
The House directed the LG vice-chairman, Rasaq Adeyemi, to take up the mantle of the council leadership in an acting capacity.
The bill was an executive bill sent to the State House of Assembly by Governor Seyi Makinde.
