Mr Traore became Burkina Faso’s president in a coup that ousted Mr Damiba from office in September 2022.
The newly appointed Prime Minister Apollinaire Kyélem de Tambéla presented his cabinet in the capital Ouagadougou on Wednesday.

Security in Burkina Faso has worsened since 2015 as attacks have killed more than 1,000 people and displaced more than 1.9 million others.
The coup plotters said various sections of Burkina Faso’s society would be convened to agree on a roadmap to plan and carry out needed reforms.
