Governor Monday Okpebholo on Wednesday announced the dissolution of the boards of all ministries, departments and agencies in Edo with immediate effect.
Mr Bobboyi said the approval followed the passage of the 2024 Appropriation Bill and the assent to the bill into law.

The governor urged the new appointees to embrace innovation and technology in their official duties.
“I can tell you authoritatively that Mr President has given the approval for the establishment of Civil Service Commission for the FCTA,” FCT Minister Nyesom Wike said.
He urged the participants to make the best use of the opportunity to assist the governor in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of the state.
“Let the poor be happy, let the rich be annoyed and let the pensioners have a sense of belonging, and the civil servants feel that they are working for Abia.”
