The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says fresh registration in the ongoing nationwide Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) has hit 10,487,972 as of July 4.

INEC said it deployed more than 50 registration machines and 150 personnel for the exercise.
Mr Ibrahim said the organisation was creating awareness on the importance of voter registration and mobilising participation in the exercise.
The government said community leaders must ensure that eligible voters within their wards and local government areas register and obtain their PVCs.
Mr Adeniran assured the traders that no effort would be spared at ensuring their registration for PVC.
