The commissioner said in Ado-Ekiti on Saturday tha the fund is being used to construct new buildings, renovate old ones and erect perimeter fencing.
He urged all Nigerians living with a disability to obtain the certificate to fully access its benefits.
Mr Frank Nweke said he was committed to prioritising the rights and well-being of people living with disabilities in the state.
“We cannot access airports seamlessly. It has become an issue of abuse, indiscrimination and inhumane treatment.”
Some of the games the athletes will participate in are amputee football, para-athletics, para-badminton, and deaf sports.
“Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has already included PWDs in his cabinet, but we are looking at the legal framework to sustain the inclusion.”
