The Nigerian community in South Africa has appealed to the federal government to urgently resolve challenges delaying the repatriation of about 300 Nigerians stranded in Pretoria.
Several Ghanaians have demanded the closure of South African-owned businesses in the West African country.
Mr Frederick said, “People can come into your house, point a gun at you and rob you. Even in the streets, you are not safe.”
Grief and anger have trailed the death of a Nigerian citizen, Ekpenyong Andrew, following his alleged arrest by Tshwane Metro Police officers in Pretoria, South Africa.
The police, who confirmed the arrest in a statement, said an investigation has been launched into the incident and that more arrests are imminent.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Atteridgeville Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
“The president of South Africa accepted our request to include Madagascar among the BRICS partner countries,” Mr Randrianirina said.
No arrest has been made and the motive of the shooting is still unknown.
