Mr Jejeloye assured the mechanics that it would apprehend the two fleeing suspects.
It said the suspects are being interrogated over their connection to the incident, before embarking on its next line of action.
During the search, the operatives uncovered various mobile phones reportedly stolen from individuals across communities and villages along the Borno-Adamawa border.
The statement added that the suspects are currently assisting the police with the investigation.
The police said the suspect on collecting the iPhones meant for delivery bolted and switched off his phone.
“Intelligence will be shared with sister agencies to ensure protection of lives and property.’’
He said that the raid was ordered by the state commissioner of police.
The RRS stated that the suspects were arrested at 11.38 p.m. on Thursday.
Alagbon is alleged to be a ringleader of a notorious cult group that has terrorised, maimed and killed residents of the town and neighbouring communities.
The collapsed buildings are at No 47-49 Oduntan Street, Kosofe, Lagos.
