Mr Disu recalled his close working relationship with journalists covering the Lagos State government.
The command said the suspect was apprehended during a coordinated stop-and-search operation.
Mr Ikenga urged members of the public to continue to support the police with credible information to help the command tackle crime.
Police vowed to deal with anyone who threatened public peace in accordance with the law.
Mr Giwa noted that public awareness and responsible utilisation of emergency lines remain critical to effective emergency management.
The police spokesman added that operatives of the command won’t relent until residents stay away from crime.
She said that the recovery took place on October 5 at about 5:30 a.m. near Allen roundabouts in Ikeja.
The police command in Anambra has detained a suspected member of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra over alleged extortion and terrorism in Ihiala LGA.
The police spokesman said the suspect was currently in custody and would be charged in court upon conclusion of investigations.
Mr Adewale said two members of the vigilante group were injured in the attack on September 15.
