The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has unveiled a radio tracing programme in Borno to reunite 3,000 missing persons with loved ones.
The U.N. refugee agency said some 60,000 to 90,000 people have fled into neighbouring Chad since violence erupted last month.
“And, it is culminating in a high degree of criminality within our various communities.
He added that the society was collaborating with media practitioners, whom he described as critical partners in its humanitarian activities.
“When it came to that kind of teaching, I noticed some political games being played in the church and decided not to attend.”
One thousand four hundred ninety migrants have already applied for asylum with the Croatian government.
“The complacent attitude of Nigerians to COVID-19 vaccines is very dangerous and worrisome to the wellbeing of the nation,” the Red Cross said.
ICRC says the latest figures for disappeared persons across Africa is 64,000 cases, with Nigeria recording over 25,000 missing people.
The health app supports women with expert advice and resources at each stage of their reproductive cycle and provides information on sexual health.
Some of the society’s priority needs the money will be used for include six ambulances, four utility vehicles and personal protective equipments.
