On Thursday morning, Gunmen attacked and killed 21 persons at Batin and Rayogot villages of Heipang district.
He stated that the development posed a major setback to the economic and agricultural activities in the state.
”The gunmen invaded the village at about 9:45 p.m. on Sunday in a car and shot sporadically at the victims.”
Some community leaders from the localities, in separate interviews, described the situation as worrisome and called for urgent action to curb the looming dangerous trend.
“In Kwi, an entire community, Hei-gwe, was razed and over 100 farmlands destroyed.”
The orphanage was said to have housed many children from Adamawa, Taraba, Gombe and Plateau for trafficking to other parts of Nigeria.
