The Kaduna government says troops killed eight bandits in Birnin Gwari LGA.
Governor Uba Sani has removed the current 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. curfew completely.
16-year-old Isma’il Muhammad was reportedly shot inside his father’s house on Tuesday.
“This is with effect from tomorrow, Thursday, August 8,” the Kaduna government said.
Mr Aruwan urged the citizens to observe the curfew strictly, and shun rumours or unverified reports.
Mr Aruwan said the coordinated ground and air strikes by the troops of Operation Whirl Punch successfully neutralised several bandits.
Mr Aruwan said Mr Yadi was one of the “deadliest” bandits terrorising northern Nigeria in the last decade.
The Kaduna State Security Council has warned against the blockage of public roads and harassment of residents by protesters.
The Kaduna Capital Territory Authority says it has evacuated 20 refuse dumpsites to improve public health safety within the Kaduna metropolis.
He also thanked Gov. Uba Sani for his support to the division towards ensuring a secured environment.
