He said that Zamfara was the only state in Nigeria yet to implement the N70,000 minimum wage.
“I believe as of now, in 2023, if we take another statistics, it will be higher than it was in 2021. Nigeria as a nation cannot allow things to continue that way.”

The Zamfara government has promised to pay civil servants the N30,000 new minimum wage.
The union said key government officials have prevented meetings with the governor to discuss possible solutions.
