Rahama Farah, chief of the UNICEF field office in Kano, made the appeal on Tuesday.
The minister acknowledged the cooperation of residents and friends of the FCT in the previous year.
A recent ministry circular states that written exams will not be held for first- and second-grade students in primary schools.
Mr Alausa stressed that Nigeria’s education reforms must now translate into measurable outcomes across all states.
While the federal government closed 41 unity schools, governors of Kwara, Plateau, Niger, Benue, and Katsina also shut down schools in their states.
“We are not bothered about roads now or schools. Please save our lives,” said the senator. “Our people’s lives are in danger.”
Mr Agada warned that if urgent intervention was not provided, the situation could worsen.
“After the census exercise, the list of the defaulting schools will be published,” the commissioner said.
Ms Nwadinobi said the state government was committed to carrying along every segment of the education sector.
The permanent secretary reiterated the Lagos government’s zero tolerance for sexual and gender-based violence.
