He assured citizens of the National Assembly’s commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s health architecture.
Mr Dickson said, “I am aware that some issues have been raised and that is legitimate.’’
“We recall that the former Senate Chief Whip made careless remarks and insinuations that could have incited commotion in the polity.’’
“Our corruption is people-driven.’’
He added, “And people who are coming in thinking to steal money should have a rethink because those days are over.”
Mr Kalu, before the closed-door meeting, expressed gratitude to God for Mr Tinubu’s successful vacation and safe return to Nigeria.
“We are waiting for the party to zone the position to us. It is only fair and natural that the position be zoned to the South-East.
Mr Kalu spoke on Thursday night in Maryland when he met Nigerians living in the United States of America.
Mr Kalu explained that there was no point in joining the contest without the full support of other regions.
“It is important to note that I have always stood for and supported the party”.
