Mr Junaidu noted that Sokoto State had experienced various degrees of flooding in recent years.
The declaration was announced in a statement on Monday by Sambo Junaidu, chairman of the Advisory Committee on Religious Affairs of the Sultanate Council.
He said the Tinubu administration fully recognised the strategic role of traditional institutions.
Leader of the delegation, Abubakar Bawa-Kalgo, described the exercise as transparent, credible and in accordance with the party’s constitution.
Mr Matawalle said Mr Tinubu remained focused on governance, national development and the welfare of all Nigerians.
He commended the Nigerian Army for the significant successes recorded against bandits in the state.
The organisation decried the abduction of schoolchildren in Borno and Oyo states, accusing the Tinubu-led government of failure to protect lives and property.
“Our diversity is not a point of division, but a source of strength and victory,” said the army chief.
He said the U.S. Army has mobilised resources and commenced operations in Nigeria.
