Mr Giwa said that a meeting in Ikeja would discuss the existing challenges in traffic management around event centres.
“We will continue scaling up our enforcement and clampdown on stubborn private and commercial bus drivers.’’
Mr Giwa said the development was to enhance peace and good working relationships among the union members in the state’s transportation sector.
He confirmed further that the exercise was carried out after several warnings to both private and commercial bus drivers.
“It was not murder; it was an accident and was not deliberate, so he will be charged with manslaughter,” the spokesperson stated.
The Lagos government says it has commenced a crackdown on unregistered and unpainted vehicles operating in the state, apprehending over 200 drivers.
