“The problem here is not the immigrants; that is simply scapegoating. The problem is broken countries,” he said.
South African President has appealed to South Africans planning anti-immigration protests on Tuesday not to act violently against foreign Black nationals in the country.
“For 90 minutes, as they play for our country, we will not be divided by language, race, province, club or circumstance,” Mr Ramaphosa stated.
Mr Oshiomhole said, “If you hit me, I’ll hit you. I think it’s appropriate in diplomacy.”
The president reminded South Africans of the debt the country owed to the rest of the continent.
