Ms Adeh said the arrested suspect was currently receiving medical attention as the investigation continues.
She said the CP had directed the blocking of identified access routes often exploited by criminal elements.
Ms Adeh said the directive to suspend enforcement would remain in place pending the outcome of the ongoing legal process.
Police said the body, suspected to be that of a labourer working at a construction site within the complex, was found in a sleeping position on the back seat of the vehicle.
The command’s spokesperson stated that investigation into the incident was underway.
She said the suspects, including two daughters of the victim, conspired to fake the abduction in the Jikwoyi area of Abuja to demand ransom.
