SP Suleiman Nguroje, the command’s spokesperson, said in a statement on Tuesday that two others were also arrested.
The police command in Adamawa says it has commenced an investigation into a case of an alleged acid attack on a teenager, Walid Mohammed, in Yola South LGA.
He enjoined members of the public to continue to support the police with timely and credible information.
He said that the officers used excessive force and shot in the air to effect the arrest of a suspect.
The police spokesman said a preliminary investigation revealed that the victims were unlawfully taken from Maiduguri by one Aliga Suleiman.
The state police spokesperson said that unauthorised use of the uniforms undermined the integrity of security agencies.
Mr Nguroje said that other exhibits include 110 live rounds of AK-47 ammunition and improvised explosive devices.

The police have apprehended two suspects for the alleged murder of an inspector, Ibrahim Maizabuwa, attached to the command in Gombe.
The police spokesman added that the suspect killed the baby and buried the corpse at Girpata area of Mubi.
