The complex was closed for several hours before legislative staff forced open the chamber’s doors.
Mr Muhamadu said when the SSS operatives interrogated him, he told them he knew nothing about kidnapping.
The judge nullified the continued detention of the driver and ordered his immediate release from the SSS custody in Abuja.
He held that the prosecution proved that the two defendants participated in the ambush of the SSS operatives.
The service said this in a statement issued by its spokesperson, Peter Afunanya, on Wednesday.
“I hereby charge the security operatives – the police, DSS, army and other sister agencies to rescue him alive from these evil doers and reunite him with his family safe and sound.”
Following the raid, Mr Igboho sued the Nigerian government and demanded damages.
