Mr Ouatara was re-elected for a fourth term in office on October 25.
Mr Shettima had departed South Africa on Sunday for Luanda after a successful outing at the 2025 G20 Leaders’ Summit in Johannesburg.
The meeting is scheduled to hold from Monday to Wednesday in the Angolan capital, Luanda.
Mr Nkwocha said Mr Shettima’s trip to South Africa was necessitated by Mr Tinubu’s decision to stay back in Nigeria and attend to security concerns in the country.
A statement noted that Mr Shettims would hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the event.
Vice-President Kashim Shettima is scheduled to deliver Nigeria’s national statement on Wednesday at the ongoing United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The session will hold between Monday, Sept. 22 and Sunday, Sept. 28.

Mr Nkwocha made the disclosure in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.
Mr Nkwocha explained that the donation was sufficient to cultivate approximately 600 hectares of land.
