He said that Benin and Nigeria share deep historical, socio-cultural, and economic ties.
He said it marked the beginning of President Tinubu’s quest for another four-year term in office.
The vice-president expressed optimism that the country would overcome its current economic and security challenges.
In 2025, Mr Tinubu awarded each player and technical crew member the title of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).
The theme of the conference is “Delivering Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development: The Renewed Hope National Development Plan.”
The minister said, “We will showcase four playbooks on President Tinubu’s efforts to re-engineer the Nigerian economy.”
Mr Shettima was received by senior Guinean government officials and members of the Nigerian diplomatic corps.
From Guinea, Mr Shettima will proceed to Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, to participate in the 56th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF 2026).
Mr Shettima observed that commodity markets will remain volatile, oil prices, exchange rates, and capital flows will frustrate the nation’s policies.
Mr Ouatara was re-elected for a fourth term in office on October 25.
