Mr Bodinga reassured that the corps would continue to safeguard critical national assets and infrastructure (CNAI) across the state and beyond.
Mr Nnadi said the product was designated for a location in Cross River but was diverted to Abakaliki, where it was to be discharged in an unlicenced dump.
According to him, the NSCDC is working with other security agencies to ensure a crisis-free protest in and outside the Kano metropolis.
“They will be transferred to relevant juvenile authorities for necessary rehabilitation.”
He said the number of promoted officers is unprecedented because the command typically celebrates 85 promotions.
