“During the successful operations, the police detectives apprehended four Yahoo experts, of ages 22, 23, 25, and 26, who were running the notorious school,” said the command.
The command assured the public that the case would be thoroughly investigated.
The PPRO said two Toyota Camry cars with some fake dollar notes were also recovered from them.
The police said the firearm used in the incident had been recovered, and the officer’s body had been deposited at the hospital for an autopsy.
Ms Odutola said that the artiste surrendered himself at exactly 1:23p.m at the command’s headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The police spokesman said the suspects connived and lured the victim into a nearby bush and had carnal knowledge of her.
The police spokesperson said that the arrest was made by the command’s anti-vice squad following credible intelligence.
He said investigations are ongoing to apprehend other members of the gang.
The state police public relations officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, confirmed the arrest in a statement issued on Sunday in Kaduna.
He said the suspects, who were returning from a robbery operation, confessed to their crimes upon apprehension.
