The NEMA boss said the engagement was to strengthen resilience and enhance preparedness and response to flood disasters across the country.
Ms Umar, represented by Abdulrazaq Adebiyi, NEMA North-Central zonal director, said the agency had intensified efforts to enhance service delivery.
“It should not stop here after the workshop, I hope you all will go back to your states and implement what you have learnt,” he said.
He said that the forum also deliberated on urgent proactive measures to save lives, livelihood, critical infrastructure and safeguarding national food security.
