The minister described Nigeria’s borrowing profile as favourable.
Mr Tinubu said Nigeria’s youthful population remains its greatest asset.
“RevOp serves as a critical tool in the government’s drive to improve revenue administration, reduce leakages, and enhance public sector accountability,” he said.
He said the projects included the Second Niger Bridge Access Road, Enugu-Onitsha Road, and the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway.
The initiative is expected to protect insurance policyholders in the event of insurer distress or failure.
“If we build trust between the public and private sectors, Nigeria can move beyond stabilisation to sustained and inclusive growth,” Mr Oyedele said.
Mr Tinubu praised Mr Oyedele’s role in reviewing Nigeria’s tax system, describing his work as critical to modernising the country’s fiscal framework.
Mr Oyedele, 50, is an economist, accountant and public policy expert.
Mr Akpabio thereafter referred the nomination to the committee of the whole for consideration.
He reiterated the federal government’s commitment to fostering a stable, transparent, and competitive business environment.
