Mr Bago made the call on Thursday in Abuja at the inauguration of General Ibrahim Attahiru Foundation Tertiary Education Scholarship Scheme.
Mr Lagbaja further urged the RSMs to lead by example by demonstrating uncompromising and unwavering leadership.
Mr Lagbaja said the army was willing to partner with NIGCOMSAT to enhance its communication capabilities and improve operations.
The chief of army staff, Taoreed Lagbaja, says the Nigerian Army will harness various technologies to enhance the proficiency of combat arms.
“I wish to warn criminal elements in our society that the Nigerian Army will stop at nothing to neutralise them,” he said.
“Both operations have undoubtedly led to the neutralisation of a significant number of IPOB/ESN criminals, the recovery of numerous weapons and ammunition…,” Mr Lagbaja said.
“There is tremendous improvement in security and we will not rest on our oars until peace totally returns,” said the JTF commander.
The COAS said he was glad to felicitate with officers, soldiers, and civilian staff of the Nigerian Army.
Mr Lagbaja said the Nigerian Army is an agent of democracy and would always defend the Nigerian Constitution.
‘‘A well-equipped and proficient NAIC is essential for maintaining a safer and more secure Nigeria.’’
