The body of Lagbaja arrived at the National Military Cemetery at 3:15 p.m.

Mr Lagbaja died on Tuesday after a brief illness.
On Thursday, the Chief of Army Staff, Taoreed Lagbaja, charged troops to take teamwork seriously for successful operations.

Mr Lagbaja further lauded President Bola Tinubu for his support and focused leadership.
On Sunday, the Chief of Army Staff, Taoreed Lagbaja, feasted with wounded-in-action soldiers at the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna.
“It has been a year of unquantifiable sacrifice in blood and treasure as we have lost gallant warriors and precious equipment,” said Mr Lagbaja.
