Ololade Abatan, the state family planning coordinator, stated that 76,008 men and women had adopted family planning in the last three years of TCI intervention.
According to Ms Abatan, the current economic situation is now pushing the family planning message to women without much counselling.
She added that the beneficiaries comprised adolescent girls’ survivors of Gender Based Violence (GBV), Vesico Vaginal Fistula (VVF) and persons with disabilities in Sokoto.
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta has appropriated N50 million for family planning spending.
