Mr Bakare-Oki described the accident which occurred at Iyana-Iba Flyover near Lagos State University, Ojo, as regrettable.

LASTMA says a driver and one other person died in a midnight collision involving two trucks along Cele inward Oshodi-Apapa Expressway, Lagos.
Mr Bakare-Oki said the authority has a check and balance mechanism to check officers’ excesses on the field.
Mr Bakare-Oki said that such conduct had repeatedly resulted in needless tragedies and immeasurable anguish.
Mr Bakare-Oki said the injured were rushed to nearby Benic Special Hospital.
The general manager also shared operational statistics for 2024, highlighting the number of vehicular breakdowns successfully managed by LASTMA.
A commercial vehicle used for the robbery operation at the Lekki-Ajah area was also impounded and handed over to the state police.
Mr Oreagba said this was in view of the need to comply with the laws and regulations guiding the operation of all commercial vehicle operators.
