The sector commander explained that the deployment aimed at ensuring an accident-free yuletide.
He said FRSC remains committed to reducing road crashes and fatalities.
Mr Abdullahi said five ambulances, 25 patrol vans, one tow truck and personnel had been deployed at the inauguration venue.
A total of 935 road traffic crashes were recorded across the state, with FRSC rescuing 2,359 people with various injuries to nearby hospitals.
The accident involved two articulated trucks, with one conveying diesel, at New Market, Bida-Minna Road, in Bida LGA, Niger.
