Mr Wahab said some were arrested in various parts of the state for crossing the highway instead of using the pedestrian bridges.
But Dele Oshinowo, the executive chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, faulted the protesters’ claim.

The legal fireworks between the Lagos government and some traders at the Mile 12 Market continue, with the latter getting some reprieve in court.
“A detailed investigation has commenced into the immediate and remote causes of the incident.”
The actual cause and losses of the inferno, which started at about 1:30 a.m. on December 24, is yet to be ascertained.
