The NDLEA commander, Umar Adoro, told journalists on Monday in Kaduna that the operation was conducted in September.
Meanwhile, a freight agent, Elizabeth Njoko, 37, has been arrested for attempting to export 250grams of Tramadol and cannabis to Dubai.
Mr Bababfemi named the states as Borno, Kano, Kaduna, Sokoto, Zamfara, Gombe and Nasarawa.
Police spokesman Abdullahi Haruna-Kiyawa said “the suspect was driving an unregistered white Honda Accord, 2016 model, when he was stopped for a search.”
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested four trans-border drug traffickers in Adamawa State.
The NDLEA explained that the confesticated drugs included cocaine, cannabis sativa, tramadol and other illicit substances.
Mr Babafemi said that the agency also foiled fresh bids by drug cartels to export Tramadol, Ecstasy MDMA and Cannabis to Milan, Italy.
Authorities said the syndicate imported 1,284 cartons of Tramadol with market value of over N22 billion in October 2019.
Ukatu, who is Chairman of Mallinson Group of Companies, was eventually nabbed onboard a flight to Abuja at the MM2 terminal of the Lagos airport.
The NDLEA boss had ordered sustained surveillance on some targets at Satellite Town and Alaba Rago areas of Lagos.
